Our Malaga Ballroom Dance week will win your hearts and soul. Málaga has established itself as Andalusia’s most culturally dynamic and exciting city. With a stunning port and a beautiful old town, lovely beaches and warm sunshine, there is something for everyone in this sophisticated, modern metropolis.

Day 1, Saturday March 7

Pre-night package

We are offering a pre night package for those who wish to arrive one day before our dance week, get over jet lag or just enjoy the facilities and beach of this amazing resort. We will arrange an airport welcome and transfer to the hotel included in the pre night package. For our oversees guests arriving in the morning, Ole will host you for lunch before hotel check in at a restaurant of his choosing. It will be a surprise. Please check below for pricing of the pre night package.

Day 2, Sunday March 8

Airport welcome by Ole Burlay for those arriving before 11 a.m. If not, we can arrange a transfer for you to the hotel or you can meet us in time for lunch at the hotel. Lunch included in pricing. Transfer not included in pricing.

3:00 PM                     Hotel Check in

4:00 PM                     Your first dance class. Cha Cha and Salsa. No dance shoes required for this class. Class 1

5:00 PM                     American Waltz or Bachata. Class 2

6:00 PM                     Free Time to enjoy the facilities

7:30 PM                     Group dining – buffet dinner at hotel included in pricing.

9:00 PM                     Social dance evening coordinated by Ole Burlay. Dance shoes recommended. Dance hosts provided 1 to 3 ratio.

10:30 PM                    Night Owls meet for drinks. This is not a hosted event.

Day 3, Monday March 9

Until 9:00 AM            Breakfast

10:00AM                    Group dance class American Waltz continuation. Class 3.

11:00 AM                   Group dance class Fox Trot both American and International styles. Class 4

Noon to 12:15             Review of the past 3 classes as a supervised practice. Dance hosts will be available.

12:30                           Lunch (not included in pricing)

Until 3:45PM              Siesta

4:00PM                       Train ride to Malaga with tour guided by Ole Burlay

7:00PM                       Dinner in Malaga with Flamenco dance show, followed by return train ride to hotel (around 11PM Dinner and show included in pricing. Drinks not included)

Day 4, Tuesday March 10

Breakfast

9:15AM                     Group dance class Cha cha, salsa  continuation. Class 5

10:15 AM                   Group dance class Rumba. Class 6

11:00 AM                   6-hour tour with lunch stop in La Cala and Puerto Banus. Lunch not included in pricing but tour is.

5:00 to 6:00PM       Return to hotel

7:30PM                      Dinner on your own. Buffet dinner available and included in pricing at the hotel.

9:15 to 11:15PM       Dance party hosted.

Day 5, Wednesday, March 11

Breakfast

9:30AM                      Group dance class International Waltz. Class 7

10:30 AM                   Group dance class Rumba continuation. Class 8

Noon:                          Beach walk and lunch to be determined. Lunch not included in pricing.

2:00PM                       Siesta, beach walk on your own, or afternoon shopping with Ole

5:00PM                       Technique class with Valentin Milev (Spanish Latin finalist)

7:30PM                       Dinner on your own. Buffet dinner at hotel is included in pricing as an option.

9:30 to 11:00PM       Dance party hosted

Day 6, Thursday March 12

Breakfast

9:30AM                     Group dance class Tango. Class 9

10:30 AM                  Group dance class American Swing. Class 10

11:30 AM                   QiGOng introductory class.

12:30                         Lunch (not included in pricing)

3:00PM                      Catamaran and tour

7:30PM                      Evening on your own to explore Malaga,  Marbella, take private dance classes, or simply have a break.

Day 7, Friday March 13

Breakfast

9:30AM                     Group dance class Tango extension and Foxtrot, Class 11

10:30 AM                   Group dance class American Swing extension and Samba. Class 12

Noon                           Lunch (not included in pricing)

7:30PM                       Farewell buffet dinner at hotel included in pricing.

9:15PM to 11:15PM   Farewell hosted dance party.

Day 8, Saturday March 14

Adios! All good things come to end. Depending on your flight schedule you are welcome to join us for a farewell breakfast at the hotel. See you next year.

Notes: All group classes will be 50 minutes. There will be enough hosts and pros for single dancers to join us. We guarantee a ratio of 1 dance host for every 3 guests.

*Room upgrades available upon request. Fees apply. Private lessons available. We can arrange for you to have an exclusive dance partner during our evening parties – €130 per evening. If you would like a dance host this must be pre arranged no later than February 1, 2020.

West Coast Swing Classes available, $25 USD per person with groups of 3 to 6. Private classes $100 USD for 45 minutes.
