Our 2022 Argentine tango-yoga holiday was a smashing success. Stay tuned for future dates. Contact us if interested as we will run the event as soon as we have enough people ready to tango. Join an incredible week of tango, yoga, food and wine in the hills of Umbria, Italy! Our Tango-Yoga retreat, planned organized by EviActive in collaboration with MonTango, will include daily tango classes and guided practices with Andrea and Wolf, owners of the MonTango studio in Montreal; morning yoga classes designed for dancers with certified instructors Andrea and Eva; outings to local milongas; delicious Italian meals; a wine tasting with Villa owner and sommelier Emma; and a walking tour. We’ll be staying at the gorgeous Villa LeMura, which we’ll have all to ourselves. Situated in the Umbrian Hills next to Tuscany, the four-acre, 18th-century property offers gardens, olive groves, a park and an outdoor pool to roam and enjoy. Space is limited, so reserve your spots soon! (Reserving with a partner is recommended; we strive to maintain a balance between leaders and followers.)

Price includes: 6 nights accommodations at our private Villa Lemura, 6 breakfasts, 3 lunches, 2 dinners*, 6 tango group classes, 4 yoga classes, 1 wine tasting with sommelier Emma Louise Cornish, 1 olive oil tasting.

Not included: Flights, tips for guides, drivers, and staff, transfers to and from the villa. Evening milongas are not included in the pricing and are subject to entrance fee and transportation at the time of our event. Milonga outing schedule will not be available until September 2022.

*Note: There will be 2 dinners and 3 lunches included but the dates of the dinners will depend on the milonga outings, which is yet to be determined. Pre-arrival night with breakfast available upon request. Price for pre-night is €150 per person in double occupancy, €240 per person in single occupancy.

TANGO ARTISTS

Andrea Shepherd and Wolf Mercado

Andrea Shepherd and Wolf Mercado are the founders and directors of MonTango in Montreal, one of the top Argentine tango schools in the city.  They are as passionate about teaching as they are about dancing. They are known for theirexcellent instruction and the passion they convey when they dance. Andrea and Wolf are frequently invited to perform with local musicians El Trio Argentino and Fiestango and have appeared at such festivals as Festivalissimo, Juste pour rire and the Festival International de Tango de Montréal. They have danced on television, taught in various cities across Canada, won in competition and produced and directed four stage shows called Historias de Tango, featuring the MonTango professional team.

Andrea and Wolf teamed up with Eva Stelzer of EviActive for the first time in 2021 for a yoga and wellness retreat with a touch of tango. It was such a joy and success that all of them knew they would be working together again soon.
